Cheryl Thaxton, DNP (Nursing), served as a national co-chair for the 2023 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care, held March 22-25 in Montréal, Canada. Thaxton received an award for her service from the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine for her work.
