Cheryl Thaxton, DNP (Nursing) has been appointed to a national committee to align the new AACN Essentials with the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties.
The AACN Essentials, used to define quality in nursing education across the United States, outline the necessary curriculum content and expected competencies of graduates from baccalaureate, master’s, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.
