Gabrielle “Gabby” Pringle has joined TWU as the first coordinator for the university’s Student Money Management Center.
Pringle earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Montevallo in Alabama and her master of education in higher education from the University of North Texas. While at UNT, Pringle served as the graduate assistant in the university’s Student Money Management Center for one year and became interested in financial literacy. From that experience, she has helped numerous individuals and groups learn important financial skills.
Pringle has given financial presentations and provided one-on-one budgeting sessions as an AmeriCorps member, Bibb County Career Academy’s Career and Technical Coach, and as the founder of The Budgeting Boss. As part of her responsibilities at TWU, Pringle coordinates the center’s assessment program and currently is hiring students from all three campuses for the center’s first-ever financial peer mentoring group, the Maroon Money Mentors.
