Richard Shuster, DMA, (Music), a Fulbright Program Advisor at Texas Woman's University, was selected to participate in the 2023 Fulbright Program Advisor Development Initiative in New York City. 

The training is designed to help new Fulbright Program Advisors develop best practices to promote Fulbright student programs and to advise Fulbright grant applicants. The training program is sponsored by the Institute of International Education. 

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers opportunities for TWU graduating seniors and graduate students to pursue graduate study, conduct research or teach English abroad. TWU staff and faculty serving as Fulbright Program Advisors provide essential support to students applying for Fulbright grants. 

Shuster is a three-time Fulbright recipient.
