Perkin named host of 'Sci Dish' podcast

Bruce Perkin (adjunct, nutrition & food sciences, Denton) is the host of the Institute of Food Technologists' new podcast, Sci Dish. The podcast focuses on interesting subjects in the world of food science that the average food scientist may not know much about.

The podcast now is live and available for free on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or on the IFT website. Subject areas for the first few episodes include sensory analysis of food, product development, nutrition and the intersection of anthropology and food science. Future episode that will be released include indoor farming, micro algae as a source of food, the science of pet foods and more.
