Jyutika Mehta, PhD, was elected as a Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) at ASHA’s annual convention in December 2024 held in Seattle.
Fellowship is one of the highest forms of recognition and a lifetime honor given by ASHA for outstanding professional achievements. While there are over 234,000 members who fulfill their professional responsibilities competently, only a few have, by virtue of the quality and amount of their contributions, distinguished themselves sufficiently to warrant this highest recognition.
Mehta’s achievements in clinical scholarship, teaching, and service as well as leadership at the state, national, and international levels have made a lasting and significant impact and continue to do so in the field and beyond.
