During a recent trip to Peru to hike the Inca Trail, Brenda Moore (Nursing, Houston), director of the Center for Global Nursing, met with Gladys Moran, chancellor of Universidad Maria Auxiliadora in Lima, to discuss capacity-building opportunities between their universities' Colleges of Nursing in the areas of community and mental health.

Moore said they established an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), with tentative plans that may involve research and student visits.
