Ngozi Mbue, PhD, was accepted as a Scholar of the inaugural 2024 cohort of THRIVE by ASBMR (Advancing Bone, Mineral and Musculoskeletal Science).
"I feel honored to be one of the ten researchers selected nationwide," Mbue said. "This is an excellent opportunity to improve my leadership skills, and research and make me a better educator. This program is sponsored by a grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease."
The three-year program will deliver individualized mentorship and high-quality professional development to early-career scientists and clinicians who identify as underrepresented in biomedical and behavioral science worldwide and promoting the translation of basic and clinical research to improve human health.
