Nasrin Kohan (Chemistry and Biochemistry, Denton) won the third annual She-Rock Award for Best Female Educator in Denton. She-Rock highlights women in the community who have made a positive impact in Denton County. The event is sponsored by Friends with Benefits, an organization that benefits North Texas charitable groups that better local communities, schools, and/or neighborhoods.
