Michelle Kelly (Health and Wellbeing Initiative, Denton) was selected as the Region III winner of the James E. Scott Outstanding Mid-Level Student Affairs Professional Award. Criteria for the NASPA (National Association of Student Personnel Administrators) award include demonstrated expertise in creating a campus environment that promotes student learning and personal development, as well as outstanding individual contribution in innovative and responsive services and programs that address varied and emerging needs of students.

The award will be presented at the Region III Summer Symposium, scheduled June 12-15 in Charleston, South Carolina. As the recipient of the Region III award, Kelly is the region’s candidate for a national Mid-Level Professional Student Affairs Award.
