Genevieve West (English) continues to make news for her work on editing “Hitting a Straight Lick with a Crooked Stick,” a new book of Zora Neale Hurston short stories. West was interviewed by an Associated Press reporter and is quoted extensively in the AP-distributed story that has been picked up by more than 100 media outlets, mostly in the United States and Canada.
