Christopher Johnson (chancellor’s office) and Denise Lucero-Miller  (Counseling and Psychological Services) were quoted in a July 5 Denton Record-Chronicle story, “TWU working to create on-campus memorial garden for Quakertown.” Johnson, a member of the committee working to establish a memorial acknowledging the university’s role in the relocation of the Quakertown community, discusses plans for the memorial garden. Lucero-Miller, committee chair, talks about the timeline for bringing the issue before the chancellor and the TWU Board of Regents.
