Chancellor Carine Feyten was quoted in a number of stories covering the groundbreaking of the Denton campus health sciences center and launching of the university’s “Dream Big” campaign. Stories included TWU says new health sciences center will bridge ‘gap’ in rural care” on KERA News and “Texas Woman’s University to break ground on $107 million health sciences center” on NBCDFW.

Feyten and Regent Stacie McDavid were quoted in a Sept. 16 Denton Record-Chronicle story, “TWU’s ‘Dream Big’ campaign raises $103M amid historic groundbreaking, aims for $125M by 2026,” and in a Sept. 15 D Magazine story, “TWU Breaks Ground on $107 Million Health Sciences Center Built for the Underserved.”

Feyten and Christopher Ray, PhD (College of Health Sciences) were quoted in a Dallas Morning News story, TWU breaks ground on Denton health sciences center.” Ray also was interviewed for a segment on KDFW Fox 4, “TWU breaks ground on landmark health sciences center in Denton.”
