Aimee Myers (teacher education) was quoted in an April 26 Denton Record-Chronicle story, “Pet adoptions, fosters popular in pandemic.” Myers said her family’s recently adopted dog has lifted their spirits and is helping them cope with anxiety due to the CORVID-19 pandemic.
