The TWU community offers its sympathies to the family and friends of E. Anne Young, EdD, who passed away Feb. 20, 2023. Young was a professor emerita and former professor in the College of Nursing at the Houston campus for 42 years, including 10 as the doctoral program coordinator. She was a mentor to other College of Nursing staff and widely known among faculty at all three Texas Woman’s campuses. 

“Anne was a lovely and brilliant individual who made a positive impact on many TWU students and faculty,” said longtime friend, College of Nursing Associate Dean Paula Clutter, PhD.

Services for Young will be at 2 p.m. March 3, 2023, at Christchurch Presbyterian, 5001 Bellaire Blvd., in Houston.
