DiAnna Hynds, PhD (Biology) was named treasurer-elect of the American Society for Neurochemistry (ASN) at the organization’s 2023 meeting March 18-22 in Lexington, Kentucky. Hynds has been active in ASN, having served as a member of the Marian Kies award committee and councilor. She currently is chair of the Education and Public Policy Committee, and is a senior editor for the society’s journal, ASN Neuro.

As treasurer-elect, Hynds will move into the treasurer position for 2025-2027.
