Texas Woman’s artists from throughout history are making the news. Coreen Spellman, an alumna and former faculty member whose work is featured on the west wall of the Patio Building, is the focus of an article in the March/April issue of  County Line Magazine.

Carlotta Corpron, a visual arts faculty member from 1935 to 1968, is featured in a March 11 Glasstire article, “Five-Minute Tours: ‘The Bauhaus in Texas’ at PDNB Gallery, Dallas.” The article notes that TWU had the first studio art program in Texas. The story also notes that Susan kae Grant, Cornaro Professor of Arts Emerita, will take part in a March 26 gallery talk in conjunction with the exhibit.
