Sheranda Fesler (Nursing adjunct, Dallas) has been named one of 20 outstanding nurses for 2022 by the Texas Nurses Association, District 9. Fesler was selected based on her leadership in quality and safety in her work at Texas Children’s Hospital. Her notable achievements included helping to increase flu compliance numbers within the nursing department for the current flu season, as well as co-leading the CLABSI HAC (Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection Hospital-Acquired Condition) group that recognized the lowest primary CLABSI rates in the history of the organization.
Fesler and other award recipients will be recognized at the association’s 30th Annual Nursing Celebration dinner March 4 at the Westin Houston Medical Center.
