Pat Driscoll, JD, and Sandra Tyson, PhD (both Health Care Administration) served as faculty advisors to teams of master's students that won and took third place at the North Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives case competition in October. 

The first-place team received a combined cash prize of $3,000 and paid registration tickets to the 2024 ACHE Summit in Chicago and also were invited to sit in on ACHE-NTX board meetings in 2024. 

Driscoll and Tyson helped prepare the teams for the regional competition to find outcome measures that a Dallas-Fort Worth hospital could use to improve its congenital heart disease program.
