The Society for College Science Teachers (SCST) has selected Ann Davis (biology, Denton) as the 2021 winner of the Outstanding Undergraduate Science Teaching Award. 

Davis was recognized for her innovative teaching and use of active learning exercises, including clickers and team-based learning, as well as her work advising students as chair of the pre-health committee at TWU.

Davis will receive a plaque and an award of $1,500, and will deliver the Marjorie Garner Lecture at the next annual SCST meeting.
