The inaugural Provost’s Fellows Leadership Academy has welcomed its incoming cohort of 17 faculty and professional librarians.
Administered by the Office of Faculty Success and the Center for Faculty Excellence, the academy is specifically designed for faculty and academic staff who aspire to serve in certain administrative roles at the department chair or director level (or higher) in Academic Affairs.
The inaugural class includes:

- David Gardner, PhD (Computer Science)
- Noah Lelek, PhD (Theatre)
- Lee Brown, PhD (Business)
- Zhen Li, PhD (Business)
- Jennifer Flanagan, PhD (Business)
- Xiaofen Du, PhD (Nutrition & Food Sciences)
- Jyutika Mehta, PhD (Communication Sciences)
- Asha Vas, PhD (Occupational Therapy)
- Rebecca Keele, PhD (Nursing)
- Aaron Norton, PhD (HDFS&C)
- Randa Keeley, PhD (Teacher Education)

Each was selected from a competitive pool of nominations across all departments and programs from each of TWU’s three campuses.
The selected fellows will participate in the academy for a minimum of one year – with the option for a second year – that engages participants in leadership development.
