It’s not uncommon for kids growing up today to spend more time with screens than they do in school, with their families, or sometimes even sleeping. It’s important for parents to be able to recognize the signs of a problematic state and take action as needed. A free webinar, “Managing Screen Addiction in Children,” will provide strategies for helping children balance the digital and real world.
Webinar topics include:
- Signs and symptoms of Electronic Screen Syndrome
- Short- and long-term effects of excessive screen use
- Strategies for balancing the digital world with the real world
- Setting boundaries, limits, and establishing accountability
The webinar is available 3-4 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, or 11 a.m.-noon, Thursday, May 20. Click on the link to register for that date’s webinar.
Alliance Work Partners, the university’s EAP provider, is sponsoring the webinar.
