The TWU Office of Human Resources has teamed with Alliance Work Partners, the university’s Employee Assistance Program, to offer a series of one-hour Zoom professional development webinars throughout the summer.
Scheduled events include:
- Inclusivity, Collaboration, & Respect in the Workplace, 3 p.m., Thursday, May 12 — The objective of this course is to understand and model workforce behavioral traits that cultivate mutual respect, collaboration, and a more conscious approach in terms of embracing diversity
- Managing Generations in the Workplace, 2 p.m., Thursday, June 9 — For the first time in history, we have four generations working side-by-side in the job market. This session will explore generational diversity and how to cultivate productive intergenerational teams
- Inclusivity, Collaboration, & Respect in the Workplace, 10 a.m., Friday, July 15 — The objective of this course is to understand and model workforce behavioral traits that cultivate mutual respect, collaboration, and a more conscious approach in terms of embracing diversity
- Resolving Conflict, 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9 — This session will cover how to effectively use conflict to create productive work environments and the six-step process to resolve interpersonal and group conflict
