Mental Health Awareness program set Feb. 19

Mental health affects how we think, feel and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others and make choices.

The Office of Human Resources, in coordination with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), will offer Mental Health Awareness, a live, web-based training program, at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 19.

Program topics include:

  • Creating awareness about mental health concerns in the workplace
  • Overcoming and preventing stigma of mental health services
  • Signs and symptoms of mental health disorders
  • Utilizing your EAP services

Space is limited, and registration is required. Each participant will receive an email including a link and login instructions the day before the class.

The EAP is a resource for a variety of personal and work-related concerns. See what services the EAP offers and how to access those services. Contact Holly Harris at, Lisa Taylor at, or Angela Cagle at if you have questions.
