ERS conducting series of self-care webinars

The Employee Retirement System of Texas (ERS) is conducting a series of webinars throughout the fall semester focused on self-care:

  • “Real Appeal,” scheduled Nov. 4 and Dec. 16, helps you take small steps that lead to lasting weight loss. The program can be tailored to your goals, preferences and lifestyle. In the webinar, you’ll learn how the program works and how to get started.
  • “What is Naturally Slim?,” scheduled Nov. 12 and Dec. 8, is an online weight loss program that teaches you simple, repeatable skills to help you lose weight and keep it off in the real world, without giving up the foods you love. In the webinar, you’ll learn how the program works and how to get started.
  • “Real Appeal” and “What is Naturally Slim?” are available at no cost to employees, retirees or dependents enrolled in a HealthSelect plan who are 18 or older and have a BMI of 23 or higher.
  • “Address Your Stress,” scheduled Dec. 8, will help you better understand the effects of stress, symptoms of chronic stress, and more. The webinar, part of your HealthSelectSM plan’s wellness program, is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice.
