Environmental Health and Safety staff have created a document to help department leaders and supervisors implement safety measures aimed at reducing the potential of transmitting the COVID-19 virus.
“COVID-19 Prevention in the Workplace,” based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Governor’s Strike Force to Open Texas, offers tips on:
- Maintaining social/physical distance
- Precautions for sick individuals
- Promoting good hygiene
- Disinfecting surfaces
And more, including a checklist departments/supervisors can use to help develop workplace COVID-19 prevention measures and review them with employees.
