  • All faculty and staff are invited to attend a Strategic Plan Forum, 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, in Houston 2120 (livestreamed to Denton ACT 301, Dallas 4302). Learn about these initiatives— Purposeful Partnerships, Global Perspectives, Healthcare Professionals, Process Efficiencies, Transfer Student Success, Visibility.   • Staff Council’s November meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 14 (Denton SH 308, Dallas 8201, Houston 6305).
  • Proposals are being accepted for the inaugural Race & Gender in the Workplace Conference to be held in spring 2020. This conference will prepare marginalized students to address microaggressions, stereotypes and biases that may occur in the workplace. Proposal submissions—open only to TWU faculty and staff—are due Friday, Nov. 15. 
  • Fall course evaluations are open Nov. 6-16. Fall 7-week session 2 courses will be evaluated Nov. 20-28. Students will receive notifications by email. Contact the Service Desk for support: servicedesk@twu.edu | 940-898-3971.
  • Cross-listing Canvas course shells for spring 2020 are now available. If you are teaching multiple sections in Canvas and want to merge enrollments into a single Canvas course, submit a request through the service desk. Be sure to include the course IDs and section numbers in your request.
