The TWU chapter of Sigma Xi, the science and engineering research honors society, will host a Science Cafe conversation "Mind Matters: Nurturing Brain Health to Prevent Dementia Tomorrow," at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, in the Ann Stuart Science Complex (ASSC), room 259 and via Zoom.
DiAnna Hynds, PhD, TWU Cornaro Professor of Biology, will lead the discussion on Alzheimer's Disease and the behaviors that correlate with increased or decreased incidence of dementia in aging.
Snacks and door prizes will be available.
