The Pioneering Spirit Awards nomination deadline has been extended to 11:45 a.m., Friday, March 27. These awards, sponsored by the Graduate Student Council, are exclusively for graduate students and faculty and staff who work with graduate students.

This year, nominees and award recipients will be recognized in a virtual format. More details will be announced at a later date.

Individual faculty and staff awards are:

• Distinguished Graduate Faculty Member
• Distinguished Staff Member

Individual GA/GTA/GRA awards are:

• Graduate Assistant Award of Excellence
• Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Award of Excellence
• Graduate Research Assistant Award of Excellence

Other awards include master’s and doctoral student awards of excellence and a Distinguished Department Supporting Graduate Students award.
