Oracle Cloud shift under way

Oracle Cloud will replace TWU's 25-year-old Oracle eBusiness (Phoenix) system, which loses support by the end of the year. This shift is one of university leadership's initiatives to help overcome existing challenges and prepare Texas Woman’s to take advantage of future opportunities.

Chancellor Carine M. Feyten, PhD, shares more. (4-min. Video)

Phase 1 of Oracle Cloud will drive process improvements in HR, Procurement, Finance, and associated reporting. Changes include significantly increasing ease of use, reducing manual processing, creating process transparency, streamlining reporting and enhancing security.

Faculty and staff across the university have already been involved as project team members, technical team members, stakeholders, or change agents.

What You Can Expect:

The Oracle Cloud team will update you on an ongoing basis as the team works toward a Sept. 1 Go-Live date. Look for communication, information sessions, training, and more to prepare the university community for the significant change.
