TWU's School of the Arts, Marketing and Communication, Multicultural Women's and Gender Studies and the Office of the Chancellor and President invite you to join us in restoring the “Your Dream, Your Legacy” mural to its original beauty from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on July 20 at 1215 Oakland St. (Corner of Third and Oakland).

Last fall, Texas Woman’s visual arts students painted the mural under the direction of Giovanni Valderas (Assistant Professor, Painting and Drawing) at the corner of Third and Oakland Streets.

Because it was defaced in June, the mural is being restored to continue its expression of enduring community and culture of belonging.

Those who can’t paint but would still like to support the mural restoration or the creation of new student art on campus can give to the visual arts fund.
