Now that the spring semester is underway, TWU Risk Management encourages you to keep safety in mind:

• A test of the Pioneer Alert system is scheduled Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. in Denton, 2:15 p.m. in Dallas and 2:30 p.m. in Houston. Be sure to update your contact information prior to the test. You can even add up to five alternate contacts.
• Know your evacuation routes. Find your nearest enclosed stairwells and determine the most direct routes to them.
• Identify your shelter areas. TWU faces risk from severe weather with the potential to create tornadoes, lightning and hail. Learn where to go in the event of a tornado warning.
