JNIWL hosts Women's History Month celebration

The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership will host a Women’s History Month celebration Wednesday, March 27, with several activities planned:

  • Empowerment in Full Bloom - Craft your own tulip flower bouquet, complete with greenery and finishing touch of a 2024 Women’s History Month Celebration sticker. Note: limited quantities will be available, so arrive early.
  • Clothed with Confidence - The Center for Student Leadership invites the TWU community and friends to support the “Clothed with Confidence Drive” by donating to the new TWU Career Boutique. Your donation does not just represent a change of clothes, but it can change a life by increasing the likelihood a student will get an internship or job. Donations can be dropped off at the CSL Office in 257 OMB throughout the month of March. All donations must be clean, hung, clearly labeled by size, damage-free, gently used, new or like new.
  • Sue S. Bancroft Women’s Leadership Hall - Tour the gallery and hear about Minnie Fisher Cunningham’s work towards women’s suffrage from a live storyteller. While you’re touring, you can complete a scavenger hunt to win a prize.
  • Refreshments - Fruit infused water, cheesecake bites, and light refreshments from a woman-owned small business, Cheeza Pleeza, will be available.
