  • Occupational Therapy faculty members Shannon Levandowski (Denton) and Alicia Lohmann (Houston) have been invited to present their abstract “Promoting Fieldwork Success during Clinical Rotations: Development and Implementation of Targeted Action Plans” at the 12th International Conference on Practice Teaching and Field Education in Health and Social Work in Oxford, UK, September 10-11. The pair are seeking funding now for the trip.
  • Join more than 100 members of the TWU Houston community for TWU Night with the Astros. Due to the popularity of the event, an additional 50 tickets have been added. Come check out the new bling as the Astros will be unveiling their World Series Championship rings at this game!   • Anita Hufft (nursing) will be a panelist at the next TMC Health Policy Institute conversation set for 5:30-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, at Third Coast restaurant in the Texas Medical Center. The topic of discussion is U.S. Health Care: Where Do We Go Next? and will include other panelists from across the TMC. RSVP is required.
