  • Vi Ho (nursing) and a group of nursing students will participate in the Mid-Autumn Children’s Festival and Health Fair from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Lien Hoa Temple. The students will administer health screenings at the event, which is free and open to the public.
  • Peggy Landrum (nursing) will serve on the discussion panel as the TMC Health Policy Institute releases the results of its 4th annual national survey from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Third Coast Restaurant. The survey, which provides insight into the public’s perception of health policy issues, aims toward shedding light on how the views of everyday citizens could shape health policy decisions of the future. The event is free to the public and includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres; however, you must RSVP to attend.
  • The College of Business is bringing the Wise Women and Wealth conference to the Houston campus from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 with a focus on helping women better understand money and how to make wise financial decisions. Event registration is open to the public.
