  • Congratulations to Ngozi Mbue (nursing), who was one of only six outstanding early career nurse scientists selected by the American Academy of Nursing’s Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science for the second annual Duck-Hee Kang Memorial Mentored Workshop, scheduled Oct. 22 in Washington, D.C. Mbue and five others will receive research mentoring from senior nurse scientists during the one-day workshop.
  • Catherine Cooper Hay (occupational therapy) co-authored two articles this summer: “Stroke Survivors’ Perspectives on Post-Acute Rehabilitation Options, Goals, Satisfaction, and Transition to Home,” published in the July issue of Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy; and “The Impact of One’s Sex and Social Living Situation on Rehabilitation Outcomes Following a Stroke,” published in the July issue of the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
