Congratulations to Mari Tietze (nursing) for being named a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. Academy Fellows are nursing leaders in education, management, practice and research. Tietze will be inducted in October in Washington, D.C.
Linda Denke (nursing adjunct) wrote a book, “Lost and Found: The Journey Through My Son’s Mental Illness,” which recently was published by Simon & Schuster.
Laura Brown (Teaching and Learning with Technology) wrote a review of the book “Higher Education in Texas: Its Beginnings to 1970” by Charles R. Matthews. Her review has been published in the latest issue (Volume 85, Number 2, May 2019, 491-492) of the Journal of Southern History, a publication of The Southern Historical Association.
