Emergency Management will conduct a severe weather drill on the Dallas campus at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13. The drill should not take longer tan 30 minutes. All students, faculty and staff on campus during the event will be expected to take shelter in designated areas. More information on the drill will be sent via email later this week.
The 25th annual Vanderkooi Endowed Lectureship will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16. Thomas F. Fisher, PhD, OT, CCM, FAOTA, will deliver the address, focusing on "Higher Education's Role in the Future of U.S. Healthcare."
Mari Tietze (nursing) wrote "Identifying and addressing ethical issues with use of electronic health records," which was published in OJIN: The Online Journal of Issues in Nursing Vol. 23 (1). The article was co-authored by ethicists from the American Nurses Association.
