September is National Student Parent Month, and TWU CARE (Campus Alliance for Resource Education) is participating in the National Diaper Need Awareness Week to support Texas Woman’s parenting students.

According to the National Diaper Bank Network 57% of parents said they missed an average of four days of school or work because they didn’t have diapers required by their childcare center. 

During last year’s campaign, TWU faculty, staff, and students donated more than 3,000 diapers. This year’s campaign takes place Sept. 18-22.

Diapers sizes 1-4 are needed. Donations may be made at:

• The CARE Office, located on the first floor of Jones Hall. (Due to construction and parking, call 940-898-2789 for curbside drop off.)
• The Student Union at Hubbard Hall first floor (near the performance stage) and second floor (information counter).
• Donations also may be made via the Amazon Wish List.
