  • Nursing faculty including Allison Huffman, Chin-Nu Lin, Mary Grace Yousef, Joyce Ennis and nursing education student Marie Manio recently presented at the Transcultural Nursing Society meeting in San Antonio. The conference focused on cultural issues and global health.
  • The Dallas Staff Council held its first Pumpkin Decorating Contest this week, with 11 pumpkins competing. Faculty, staff and students voted on their favorites, with Dianne Smith winning first prize for her Beetlejuice pumpkin, John Humphrey taking second place with a Pikachu pumpkin and Victoria Campbell winning third place with a pumpkin decorated as Cookie Monster.
