  • Kim Richardson (library) hosted the TWU Dallas Book Club on May 9. Staff read and discussed former first lady Michelle Obama’s memoir, Becoming, and took part in a potluck lunch.
  • Suh-Jen Lin (physical therapy) gave a platform presentation titled “Fitness Assessment in untrained individuals with chronic spinal cord injury” at the WCPT Congress held May 10-13 in Geneva, Switzerland.
  • Nursing faculty surprised administrative support staff Karen Zapata, June Roberts, Mary Ann Milligan, Mari Villisana and Michelle Jones for Administrative Appreciation Day April 24. The staff received vases of roses, thank you cards, snacks and beverages in honor of their work to support more than 50 faculty, 50-60 adjuncts and hundreds of students enrolled in nursing each long semester.
