Nominations for TWU staff members who have gone above and beyond their job duties are open and must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Feb. 29.
The awards and criteria are as follows:
Feyten-Wick Health & Wellbeing Endowed Champion Award
This award acknowledges the contributions of one exempt and one non-exempt staff member in one of the TWU Health & Wellbeing Initiative's five themes:
- eat well
- mind well
- move well
- spend well
- build well
Outstanding Achievement Award
This award recognizes staff members below the director level, with at least two years of continuous service at Texas Woman’s University, that have made significant accomplishments in their roles and work. The nomination form provides room for employees to describe specific accolades, innovations, and contributions regarding the nominee.
TWU Award of Excellence
This award recognizes staff members with at least five years of continuous service at Texas Woman's University. Qualified employees that are nominated for the Outstanding Achievement Award are automatically entered for consideration of this award, too. This award recognizes those that embody excellence in their work and service towards the TWU community, and highlights their impact in supporting TWU’s mission, values, and goals.
