A planned gift from the estate of Margaret Faye Murrell ’47 will establish the Margaret Faye Murrell Scholarship, supporting full-time undergraduate students in pursuing an education at Texas Woman’s.

Murrell graduated from Texas Woman’s with a degree in Fashion and Design. She was recognized with the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1984, celebrating her contributions to the community and the university. The gift on her behalf will ensure that students will also have access to the transformative education that TWU provides, a fitting tribute to Murrell’s life.
