The TBM Owners and Pilots Association (TBMOPA) has established a new annual scholarship at Texas Woman’s designed to support a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science. This scholarship will cover tuition, fees and flight training costs, enabling a student to focus on coursework and flight training.
Danah Alramahi, the first recipient of the TBMOPA Foundation Annual Scholarship, is a part of the Doswell School of Aeronautical Sciences’ inaugural cohort. Alramahi graduated from Coppell High School, and her passion for aviation inspired her to volunteer at her local airport in high school and to pursue a career in the field. The scholarship, which will cover $35,000 per year for tuition and fees over four years at TWU, opens this door to Alramahi to pursue her dreams of becoming a pilot.
The TBMOPA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to enhancing pilot safety and to safeguarding the future of aviation through selected scholarships for tomorrow’s pilots and other aviation education initiatives.
