Grants programs accepting applications for spring

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs has announced that application materials now are available for both the Research Enhancement Program and the Creative Arts and Humanities Grants Program 2022-2023 spring competitions. Proposals for both competitions are due by Thursday, April 7.

The primary purpose of the Research Enhancement Program (REP) is to provide seed funding (up to $10,000) so that faculty members will be able to compete more successfully for larger research grants from external sources for continuation of their research. The REP provides support for all types of faculty research. All full-time tenured faculty and tenure-track faculty members at TWU are eligible to apply and serve as PI and co-investigators.

Budget assistance and proposal preparation is available through the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. The Center for Research Design and Analysis (CRDA) can work with faculty on research design and/or statistics; for assistance email CRDA@twu.edu . To review the research design before the deadline, the CRDA must receive the draft of the narrative at least two weeks prior to the deadline.

Program guidelines and application forms are available on the REP website.

The Creative Arts and Humanities Grants Program supports TWU faculty projects in areas that ordinarily have very limited opportunity to receive external grant funding, yet have the potential to enhance scholarship and enhance TWU’s profile nationally and internationally. Up to $5,000 may be requested to support these projects and all full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty may apply.

Budget assistance and proposal preparation is available through the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs by contacting Research and Sponsored Programs. To receive assistance from the Center for Research Design and Analysis (CRDA), please email CRDA@twu.edu . To review the research design before the deadline, the CRDA must receive the draft of the narrative at least two weeks prior to the deadline.

Program guidelines and application forms are available on the program website.
