CRFS Program applications due April 27

Reminder: Applications to the Chancellor’s Research Faculty Scholars Program (formerly the Chancellor’s Research Fellowship Program) are due Thursday, April 27 to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.

The CRFS Program provides support to promising scholars and their mentors to facilitate completion of a specific project. The objectives are to:

  • Identify faculty with strong potential for obtaining external funding for research
  • Provide additional research support that will help protégés and mentors succeed in their research agendas
  • Facilitate the building of internal and external partnerships

TWU faculty scholars who demonstrate a strong potential for research select a mentor who can help them enhance their research program to become competitive for external funding.

Awards are expected to be $3,000 in support of mentors and $5,000 in support of scholars to encourage faculty with strong potential for external funding to be successful in that endeavor. Awards will be for Sept. 1, 2023 – Aug. 31, 2024, and are contingent upon funding availability.

Visit the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs website for the CRFS application guidelines and form.
