The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs announced the availability of application materials for the 2023-2024 Chancellor’s Research Faculty Scholars (CRFS) Program (formerly called the Chancellor’s Research Fellowship Program). 

The CRFS Program provides support to promising scholars and their mentors to facilitate completion of a specific project. Objectives are to identify faculty with strong potential for obtaining external funding for research, provide additional research support that will help protégés and mentors succeed in their research agendas, and facilitate the building of internal and external partnerships. 

TWU faculty scholars who demonstrate a strong potential for research select a mentor who can help them enhance their research program to become competitive for external funding.

Awards will be $3,000 in support of mentors and $5,000 in support of scholars to encourage faculty with strong potential for external funding to be successful. 

The deadline for application submission is Thursday, April 27, 2023. Awards will be for Sept. 1, 2023 – Aug. 31, 2024, and are contingent upon funding availability.
