More than 225 projects have been accepted for the 2023 Student Creative Arts & Research Symposium, scheduled Tuesday, April 18, and Wednesday, April 19, on the Denton campus. Virtual presentations also will take place.
The symposium provides opportunities for TWU students to share their scholarly pursuits and build leadership and other professional skills. It also celebrates student-mentor achievements in a way that promotes a culture of scholarship and community at Texas Woman’s.
Genevieve West, PhD (Language, Culture, and Gender Studies) will deliver the keynote address at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, in ACT 301. West will talk about her scholarship related to Zora Neale Hurston’s literary work.
In addition to open poster sessions and platform presentations, the symposium will feature special spotlight sessions. See the Schedule of Events.
