In just a matter of weeks, Texas Woman’s employees will return to their respective campuses. It’s been more than a year of working from home for most of us, and the first days back are bound to be hectic. Mark one thing off your list ahead of time — buy a 2021-22 parking permit when they go on sale Monday, Aug. 2. These permits will be valid until Aug. 31, 2022.
Permits for the Denton and Dallas campuses may be purchased online at twu.edu/parking, and payroll deduction is available. After making your purchase, you can print a temporary permit from the website. The annual permit will be mailed to you and is valid for parking both on the Denton and Dallas campuses.
Annual permit rates for faculty/staff are:
- Surface lots non-reserved: $200
- Surface lots reserved: $350
- Denton garage non-reserved (available to faculty, staff and students): $350
- Denton garage reserved: $525
Permits for unreserved spaces in the Denton parking garage are available for purchase online. If you need additional permits or want to ask about reserved spaces, email parking@twu.edu, call 940-898-2925, or visit the parking office on the first floor of the Oakland Complex on the Denton campus.
Texas Woman’s also offers temporary/daily permits, which also are sold online:
- $10/day for Denton surface lots and on the Dallas campus
- $16/day for Denton garage
Buying a temporary/daily permit doesn’t guarantee a space, and refunds are not available.
A no-decal lot is located on the north side of 380 (University Drive) at Frame and Woodland streets. A shuttle bus will be available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Drop off and pickup will be at the apex of the circular drive in front of ACT. However, parking is limited and the lot fills quickly. Please note, there will be no parking and no shuttle service to Denton Bible Church.

Houston parking
The Texas Medical Center gives priority to patients and their guests, but the Texas Woman’s Houston DPS website outlines parking options for faculty and staff. Those who opt for contract parking will pay a fee of $24.25 per month or $291 annually for fiscal year 2021-2022. Payroll deduction is available.
