Rachel Poland has received the award for Emerging Dietetics Leader from the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Poland will be honored at the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Annual Conference and Expo on April 4 in Georgetown, Texas.

The award recognizes members of the organization at the beginning of their career who support the promotion of optimal health and nutrition of the public through demonstrated leadership in legislation, research, education, management, and other areas related to the profession. The list of winners is published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
